From blog post to Pinterest pin, step by step
Setup is a short guided checklist. After that, one step is yours, approving pins, and Bloomtack handles the rest every day.

You can skip and come back to any optional step. The app shows your progress until the first pin is published.

Create your workspace
Sign up with email or Google. Your time zone is detected automatically, and one workspace can hold several blogs and Pinterest accounts.

Connect Pinterest
Sign in on Pinterest’s own screen and approve access. Bloomtack explains in plain words what it can and can’t do. Analytics need a free Pinterest business account, and the app shows you how to switch if you have a personal one.

Connect your blog
Install the WordPress plugin, or paste an RSS feed or sitemap URL. Your latest 50 posts are imported.

Check your brand kit
Bloomtack reads your logo, colors and fonts from the site. Look them over and change anything. About the brand kit.

Add an AI key, or skip it
Optional. A key adds AI copy, AI images and AI video. Skipping is as easy as connecting, and everything else works without one. About AI keys.

Map categories to boards
Tell Bloomtack which boards fit each blog category. It only creates a missing board after you confirm.

Pick your pace
Safe (3–5 pins a day), Standard (5–7) or Growth (7–10), plus your active hours and your audience’s time zone. About scheduling.

Review your starter pack
Bloomtack generates image and video pins for your top posts across its starter designs and opens the review queue. Approve the ones you like, one at a time.
Every day after that
- New posts arrive on their own. The plugin sends them as you publish, and feeds are checked every hour.
- Pins are drafted. New posts come first, then older posts that are due for a fresh pin, in the designs your A/B test favors.
- You review. Approve, reject or edit each pin. This is the only step that needs you, and an email reminds you when approved pins run low.
- The schedule is planned. Approved pins get random times inside your active hours, at your chosen pace.
- Pins are published through the official Pinterest API, with retries if Pinterest is busy.
- Results are synced once a day, and the A/B test updates which designs get more pins. A weekly email shows the winner.

Setup questions
Do I need a Pinterest business account?
Pinterest only gives analytics to business accounts, and the A/B test needs analytics. A business account is free, and the setup step shows you how to switch.
How many of my posts are imported?
Your latest 50 posts when you connect a blog, then every new post after that. Older posts can be added with a sitemap or a CSV of post URLs.
Can I connect several blogs and Pinterest accounts?
Yes. Any Pinterest account can post for any of your blogs, and one blog can use several Pinterest accounts. How many you can connect depends on your plan.
