Bloomtack turns a blog post into a short motion video: its images, title and key points, animated in your brand colors with your logo. It’s made next to the image pins for the same post, and you approve it the same way.
What goes into a video pin
A motion template takes the post’s images (or licensed stock photos when a post has none), the title and the key points from its headings. It adds animated text, slow pans and zooms, transitions in your brand colors, your logo and your domain. A cover image is made from the first key frame.
These template videos are rendered on our servers. They need no AI and no key, so every plan can use them from day one.
Motion styles are tested like designs
Each motion style, for example a kinetic title, a photo cascade or a checklist reveal, is one more design in your account’s A/B test. If your readers click videos more than still pins, or one motion style more than another, new pins follow that.
AI video, if you want it
If you connect an AI key for a provider that can generate video, Bloomtack can also make AI video for a post. The result is re-encoded to the same formats, gets your brand end card and an “AI” label, and goes through review like any other pin. It’s billed by your provider, to your own account.
Music you’re allowed to use
Music is off unless you turn it on. When you do, you pick from a small library of tracks where every license has been checked for use in videos published on Pinterest, or you upload your own audio.
Uploads can be MP3, M4A or WAV files up to 10 MB and 5 minutes long. Before an upload is used, you confirm that you own the audio or have a license for it. Tracks are trimmed and faded to the video length, and loudness is evened out.
The library never offers copyrighted songs.
Review and publishing
Video pins sit in the same review queue as image pins. They play muted and on a loop in their card, with a sound toggle when music is on, and nothing publishes until you approve it.
Approved videos go to Pinterest through its official video upload: the file is uploaded and processed shortly before its time slot, so a failed upload can be retried before the pin is due.
Each rendered video counts once toward your plan’s monthly video renders, including ones you reject. Regenerating a video counts again. AI video made on your own key doesn’t count, apart from one render for adding the end card. See the limits by plan.

Do video pins need an AI key?
No. Motion videos made from your post’s images and headings are rendered by Bloomtack and need no key. A key is only needed for AI-generated video.
What happens when I reach my monthly video renders?
New video renders wait until the next month, with a clear notice in the app. You get a warning at 80% of the limit, and image pins keep working as usual.
Should I post video pins or image pins?
You don’t have to guess. Video and image designs are tested side by side on your own account, and new pins lean toward whichever gets more outbound clicks from your readers.
