Every AI feature on your own key, with no AI limits from us
Bloomtack has no AI model of its own. Connect a key from the provider you like and it powers AI-written copy, AI images and AI video. You pay the provider directly at their prices, and there are no AI credits to run out of.
Supported providers
At launch you can connect keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, xAI, Mistral, DeepSeek and Groq. OpenRouter gives you many models through a single key.

What a key adds
- AI copy: titles, descriptions, headlines and alt text written from your post, in three angles per post.
- AI images: background images for posts with few or no photos, always labeled “AI”.
- AI video: generated video pins, if your provider’s models can make video.
- Board suggestions: help mapping your categories to boards.
For each of these tasks you choose the provider and model, or “no AI”. When you connect your first key, Bloomtack suggests a sensible model for each task it supports, and you confirm.
How your key is kept safe
- Keys are encrypted at rest, the same way Pinterest access tokens are.
- After you save a key, the app only shows the provider, a label, the last four characters and when it was added and last used. The key itself is never sent back to your browser.
- Keys are decrypted only in the background worker that makes the AI call. They’re never logged.
- “Test” checks a key with the cheapest call the provider offers, listing models, and reports any error in plain words.
- Deleting a key switches every task that used it to “no AI” right away.
What gets sent to your provider
Only your blog post: its title, focus keyword, headings, excerpt and first paragraphs, or a prompt built from them. Pinterest data, access tokens and account details are never sent to any AI provider, and Pinterest data is never used to train AI.
AI image prompts always ask for no people, no text and no logos, and a safety check removes names and misleading claims before a prompt is sent. The provider processes your post under your own account and its terms.
Usage you can see
Settings shows every AI call per key for this month and last month, with the estimated cost your provider bills you. If a key stops working, the AI step pauses with a clear message and an email, and copy falls back to templates, so publishing never stops.

How much does an AI key cost?
That’s set by your provider, usually pay-as-you-go, and some have a free tier. Writing pin copy uses little text per post. The key guide in Bloomtack shows a rough monthly cost for each provider, and Settings shows your estimated spend.
Is AI use limited by my plan?
No. Plans limit only what costs us to run: published pins and video renders. AI use is limited only by your own provider account.
