Product pins
Pinterest pins for the products in your store
If your blog has a WooCommerce or Shopify store, Bloomtack can bring in its products next to your posts and design pins for each one: the product photo, its name and its price, in your brand, linking straight to the product page.
How products come in
Product imports are a switch on each blog in Bloomtack. Turn it on and Bloomtack reads your store’s public product data. No store login, API key or extra plugin is needed.
- WooCommerce: products are read from the store’s public product listing, the same data your shop pages show. Later syncs only ask for what changed.
- Shopify: products are found through the store’s product sitemap, and each product’s public page data gives its title, price, currency and images.
Products are checked each time the blog syncs, and new products get pin drafts of their own.
What a product pin shows
The product photo, the product name and its price, written the way your blog’s language writes prices, with your brand kit’s colors, fonts and logo. The pin links to the product page, and the link carries UTM tags so your store analytics show Pinterest visits per design.
Product pins always use your own product photos. They never use AI images, so what a reader sees is what you sell.
Product pin questions
Are product pins posted automatically?
No. Like every pin, a product pin waits in your review queue Coming soon and is only scheduled after you approve it.
My store isn’t on WooCommerce or Shopify. Can I still pin products?
Not as products yet. Your blog posts still come in through the feed or sitemap, and posts that feature products get pins like any other post.
Do product pins count toward my plan?
Only when they are published, like any other pin. They share your plan’s published pins a month. Compare plans.
