When you connect a blog, Bloomtack reads your logo, colors and fonts from the site and turns them into a brand kit. Every pin and video for that blog uses it, so your Pinterest profile looks like one brand, not a pile of templates.
What Bloomtack picks up from your site
- Your logo, as SVG or PNG.
- Primary, secondary and accent colors, found by analyzing the colors in your site’s CSS and in the logo itself.
- A font pair that matches your site as closely as possible from open-source fonts, one for headlines and one for text.
- A domain badge, the short web address shown on each pin so readers know where it leads.
Detection takes a moment after you connect your blog, and you can change every part of it.

Where the brand kit shows up
Every template reads its colors, fonts and logo position from the brand kit: headline bands, text cards, infographic icons and the end card of video pins. Two of the eight designs a new account starts testing are built directly on your brand kit.
The palette is part of the design test, so Bloomtack can learn whether your primary color or a lighter variant gets more clicks, without leaving your brand.
Readability comes first. If a brand color would put text below a 4.5:1 contrast ratio on a particular image, that pin gets a scrim or switches to another color from your kit.
One brand kit per blog
Each blog you connect has its own brand kit, so a food blog and a personal finance blog run from the same workspace keep their own look. That’s useful for bloggers with several sites and for VAs and agencies with clients.

Can I change the colors or fonts Bloomtack picked?
Yes. You can replace the logo, change any of the colors, pick another font pair and edit the domain badge. New pins use your changes.
Why a matching font instead of my exact font?
Pins are rendered with open-source fonts that are licensed for this use. Bloomtack picks the closest open-source pair, so pins look like your site without licensing problems.
