See your Pinterest boards

List a connected account's boards with their visibility and pin counts.

Bloomtack reads your board list from Pinterest and keeps it for five minutes, so the list opens fast. A change you made on Pinterest shows within five minutes, or at once after Refresh boards on the Boards screen.

Steps

Go to Settings → Pinterest accounts.
On the account's row, press Show boards.
A table lists each board with its visibility (public or secret) and how many pins it holds.

Press Hide boards to close the list.

Why the list matters

Pins go to boards. Bloomtack maps your blog's categories to boards, so a Crumb & Kettle soup recipe lands on a "Soup Recipes" board and a bread recipe on "Sourdough and Bread". Knowing your boards helps you plan that mapping.

Good to know

Bloomtack never creates a board without asking you first.
Secret boards are listed so you can recognise them, but pins meant to bring visitors to your blog belong on public boards.
Board names and pin counts come straight from Pinterest. Bloomtack keeps the list for five minutes and no longer; it is cleared when you reconnect or disconnect the account.

Refresh the list

Open Boards in the sidebar (on a phone, under More) and press Refresh boards beside the account's name. Bloomtack reads the account's boards from Pinterest again and the note "Boards refreshed" says how many there are. The list here under Show boards and the board choices on the Review screen then show the same boards. The button reads Pinterest at most once every 15 seconds for an account; pressed sooner, it shows the list it already has.

If something goes wrong

The list does not load: the account may need reconnecting. See Reconnect a Pinterest account.
A board you just made is missing: press Refresh boards on the Boards screen ("Refresh the list" above), or wait five minutes.
"Bloomtack is pacing its calls to Pinterest. Try again in a minute." Bloomtack spreads its calls to Pinterest so your account stays within Pinterest's limits. Nothing is lost. Wait a minute and try again.
