Upload your own template

Turn your own pin background into a Bloomtack template by marking where the headline and your domain go.

If you already have a pin background you like, made in Canva or any design tool, make it a template, and Bloomtack writes each post's headline on it.

Upload it

  1. Open Templates. Under Your templates, give it a Template name and choose the Background picture: PNG, JPEG or WebP in the 2:3 pin shape, up to 10 MB.
  2. Press Upload template. Bloomtack checks the file, then opens the zones.

Mark the zones

  1. Pick a zone beside the picture (below it on a phone): Headline, Subtitle, Domain or Logo. Only the headline is required.
  2. Tap the picture where the zone goes. Drag the zone to move it and its corner handles to size it. The buttons next to the picture do the same without dragging, and on a computer the arrow keys move a zone (with Shift, they resize it).
  3. Choose the Text alignment, or press Remove this zone.
  4. Press Save zones. Edit zones changes them later; until you have saved them, the template shows Zones needed and the button reads Mark zones.

Use it

Press Use for new pins. While a template shows Used for new pins, one of each new post's pins uses it; Stop using it ends that. Delete removes the template and its picture for good, after you confirm; pins already made keep their look.

Checks on every upload

Uploads are checked for malware and converted to a clean image before anything else reads them. Only upload designs you made or have the rights to use.
