When Bloomtack support pauses a workspace
What the red banner means, what stops while a workspace is paused, what you can still do, and how to get it restored.
Bloomtack support can pause (suspend) a workspace, for example while we look into a report of misuse. Then a red banner shows at the top of every screen of that workspace:
> Bloomtack support paused this workspace. No pins are made or published until the pause is lifted. Your work is kept, and you can still export it.
The banner has a Contact support link. Only the paused workspace shows it: your other workspaces keep working as usual.
What stops
- Publishing. Nothing is published to Pinterest. Pins that were scheduled go back to the approved queue, with the reason on the pin. Nothing fails, and nothing is lost.
- Making pins. Generating pins, new pin text, AI images and videos, board suggestions, reading a brand kit from a blog and account audits are refused, with the message "This workspace is paused by Bloomtack support. Contact us to restore it."
- Fetching posts. Blog syncs and imports by address or CSV do not run.
- Adding things. You cannot add a blog, connect a Pinterest account or invite a team member.
- Pinterest stats. Analytics are not refreshed, so the numbers stay as they were.
- Outgoing webhooks. Events are not sent. Each one is marked as not sent, and you can retry it once the workspace is restored.
What you can still do
- Sign in and open every screen, with all your posts, pins, boards and analytics.
- Export everything: Settings, Privacy and data, Export data. See Export your data.
- Pause a post's fresh pins.
- Write to support: press Contact support in Help and support, or use the banner's Contact support link.
- Delete the workspace or your account.
Get it restored
Press Contact support on the banner and ask why the workspace was paused. Add any error IDs you saw. See Contact support from the app. Only Bloomtack support can lift the pause. When it is lifted, the banner goes away and the approved pins are placed in your posting slots again.
What support records
When support pauses a workspace or closes an account, it records the reason. Support may also keep short notes on a workspace to help it, up to 4,000 characters each. Only Bloomtack staff see these notes and reasons, and they are not in your export. To get a copy, email hello@bloomtack.com. They are deleted with the workspace or the account. See section 7 of the privacy policy.
If your account was closed
In rare cases support closes a person's account. Then the sign-in page says: "This account has been closed by Bloomtack support, so it cannot sign in." Every device is signed out, and the Pinterest accounts that person connected are disconnected. If you think it is a mistake, press Contact support on the sign-in page: it opens an email to hello@bloomtack.com. If the account is opened again, connect those Pinterest accounts again.
