Export your data

Download everything in your workspace, as CSV and JSON files in one zip.

You can take a full copy of your workspace's data at any time.

Steps

1. Open Settings, then Privacy and data.
2. Under Export your data, press Export data. It is built in the background, usually within minutes; you can leave the page.
3. When it is ready, press Download next to it. Each export can be downloaded for 7 days.

What the zip contains

Your blogs, posts and their keywords, pins, boards and board rules, pin rules and their filters, Pinterest accounts, AI providers, the team's members and invitations (email addresses and roles), your own Founding Member seats and credit, client portal accesses, activity, your own analytics events, your own sign-in and session records and the workspace's error timeline, each as CSV (for spreadsheets) and JSON (complete).

The client portal accesses list each client you shared the workspace with: their email address, your label, what they may see or do, and when the access ends, was removed or was last used.

The analytics events are only your own: the things you did in this workspace, not what other members did. The error timeline lists error IDs, codes and short summaries, never the content of your posts or pins.

The sign-in and session records are only your own too: each time you signed in or your session was renewed in the last 90 days, with the IP address, the approximate place it came from, and the kind of device, browser and system. They never include the session itself.

What it does not contain

Keys, tokens and secrets, such as Pinterest tokens and AI keys, never leave their encrypted storage, not even in an export.

The files you uploaded, such as your own pin images and videos from Upload your own pins, are not in the zip. The zip lists those pins as data, but not their picture or video files, so keep your own copy of each original.

Good to know

Owners and admins can export a workspace. Every export is recorded in the activity log.
