Sessions and devices

See everywhere your account is signed in, sign out any device, and how many devices your plan allows at once.

Settings, Account, Sessions and devices lists every place where your Bloomtack account is signed in: the browser and system (such as "Safari on iOS"), when it signed in, when it was last active, its internet address and how it signed in. The one you are using is marked This device.

Sign out a device

  • Press Sign out next to a device to end that session at once.
  • Press Sign out all other devices to keep only the one you are using.

For your safety, Bloomtack first asks you to sign in again if your last sign-in was more than 5 minutes ago, then asks you to confirm.

Change your password

Change password takes you to the sign-in page to set a new one. Setting it signs out every device, this one too, so you sign in again with the new password.

How long sessions last

A session ends after 7 days without activity, and after 30 days in any case. Then Bloomtack asks you to sign in again.

The device limit

Your plan sets how many devices you can be signed in on at once. A device is one browser on one phone or computer.

AppSumo tiers and Founding MemberNo limit

When you sign in on one device more than your plan allows, your oldest other device is signed out at once. The device you just signed in on always stays. If you belong to several workspaces, the most generous of their plans counts. Without a plan, there is no limit.

The device that was signed out shows this on the sign-in page: "You were signed out here because your account signed in on another device, and your plan allows only so many devices at once." Sign in again to use Bloomtack there; your oldest other device is then signed out instead. To stop this, sign out the devices you no longer use, or move to a plan with more devices. See Plans, limits and the usage meter.

If you did not sign in on another device, someone else may have. Follow the steps below.

If you see a device you do not know

  1. Sign it out, or sign out all other devices.
  2. Change your password, and turn on two-factor codes. See Sign in and use two-factor codes.
  3. Write to us, so we can check the account with you. See Contact support from the app.
