Delete your account or workspace
Delete a workspace or your whole account, what is removed, and the 7 days to change your mind.
Deleting asks you to type a name and to have signed in within the last 5 minutes, then gives you 7 days to cancel.
Delete a workspace
- Open Settings, then Privacy and data, and press Delete workspace. Only the workspace owner can.
- If Bloomtack shows Confirm it's you, press it and sign in again, then come back within 5 minutes.
- Type the workspace's name and press Delete workspace.
Access ends at once for everyone in the workspace. Its blogs, pins, schedule and settings are removed, and its Pinterest accounts are disconnected.
Delete your account
- Open Settings, then Privacy and data, and press Delete account.
- If Bloomtack shows Confirm it's you, sign in again. Then type your email address and press Delete account.
You are signed out on every device. Your account and the workspaces you own are removed; workspaces owned by others keep their data, and you just leave them.
Change your mind
For 7 days, signing in shows that the deletion is on its way, with Cancel deletion. After that it cannot be undone.
How long it takes
Pinterest is disconnected at once, and its data is gone within 24 hours. Everything else is deleted by day 30, with three exceptions:
- Billing records that tax and accounting laws require us to keep, such as invoices and payments. A Founding Member seat's payment is one of them; the rest of the seat is deleted with your account.
- A ban, only if support had banned your account for misuse when you deleted it: we keep a one-way identifier of the sign-in and the ban's date, with no name, email address or reason, so the same sign-in cannot start a new account. You can ask us by email to lift it.
- The audit log, which records what was done in Bloomtack. It is kept for 7 years, but your name, email address and other details are removed from it.
Pins already published stay on Pinterest; they belong to you there. See section 16 of the privacy policy for how long each kind of data is kept.
Before you delete
Export your data if you want a copy. See Export your data. If you pay for a plan, cancel it first. See Cancel or request a refund.
