Board suggestions, with or without AI
Bloomtack suggests a board for each pin by matching keywords, and can ask your own AI for up to three boards with a reason each.
Every pin needs a board before it can publish. When you open a pin in the review queue, its board picker helps you choose one.
Without an AI key
Under the Board field, which reads Pick a board until you choose one, Bloomtack shows Suggested boards whose names match the pin's keywords. Point at a suggestion on a computer to see which words matched, and tap it to use that board. This always works, with no AI key and no cost.
With your own AI key
If you have added an AI key and chose it for Board suggestions on Settings, AI keys, the picker also shows Suggest with AI:
- Press Suggest with AI. The pin shows "Asking your AI for boards…" while your AI answers.
- Under Your AI suggests, up to three of your boards appear, each with a short reason. Tap one to use it.
- Not convinced? Press Ask again. If the AI could not answer, the message says why, with Try again.
Your AI sees only the pin's headline and title, the post's title, focus keyword and category, and the names of your boards. It can only choose among boards you already have; it never creates one. The request runs on your key, so your AI provider bills you for it; Bloomtack adds no charge. See AI keys explained.
Good to know
You always see the board and can change it before you approve the pin. A suggestion is only a suggestion.
