What is a workspace?
A workspace holds one blog's sites, Pinterest accounts, brand kit and pins. Most people use one per blog or per client.
A workspace is a separate space in Bloomtack for one blog, or for one client if you manage Pinterest for others. Everything inside it stays inside it.
What a workspace holds
- The blogs whose posts become pins, with their posts and store products.
- The Pinterest accounts the pins are published to.
- A brand kit per blog: colors, fonts, logo and the address printed on pins.
- The pins, their schedule and their results.
- The people who can work in it, each with a role.
- A time zone, used for posting times.
Nothing is shared between workspaces. A pin design that works well for your bread blog never influences your travel blog, and a teammate you add to one workspace cannot see the others.
One workspace or several?
- One blog: one workspace is all you need. Name it after the blog.
- Several blogs with different audiences: one workspace per blog, so each learns what works for its own readers.
- Clients: one workspace per client, so each client's pins, results and people stay apart.
Good to know
- You can belong to many workspaces and switch between them at any time. See Switch between workspaces.
- The person who creates a workspace is its owner. See Roles and permissions.
