Switch between workspaces
Move between your blogs or clients with the workspace switcher; every screen then shows that workspace only.
If you belong to more than one workspace, the workspace switcher decides which one you are working in. Every screen, from the dashboard to settings, shows only the active workspace.
Steps
- Open the workspace switcher. On a computer it is at the top of the sidebar; on a phone it is at the top of the screen. It shows the name of the current workspace.
- Pick the workspace you want.
On a computer you can also press Ctrl K (⌘K on a Mac), type a few letters of the workspace's name and press Enter on its Switch to result.
The screen reloads with that workspace's blogs, pins and settings. Nothing in the other workspace changes.
When Bloomtack asks you to choose
If Bloomtack cannot tell which workspace you want, for example after you were removed from the one you used last, it shows Choose a workspace. Pick one; you can switch again at any time.
Good to know
- Bloomtack remembers the workspace you used last and opens it the next time you sign in.
- Your role can differ per workspace. You may be the owner of your own blog's workspace and a reviewer in a client's.
- The sample workspace, Sample: Crumb & Kettle, is a read-only food blog. It shows what a set-up workspace looks like. Open it with Explore a sample workspace in the workspace menu; see Try the sample workspace.
If something goes wrong
- A workspace is missing from the list: you are not a member of it anymore, or you signed in with a different email. Ask the workspace owner.
- The screen shows old data after switching: reload the page. If it persists, send the error ID shown to support.
