The Founding member badge and the Founding Members page

What the badge means, how to show or hide your name on the Founding Members page, and who can see it.

Founding Members are the people who bought a Founding Member seat in the founding offer: from launch day for 60 days, or until the 500 seats are sold. A Founding Member seat is a lifetime plan, and it comes with a badge and, if you want it, your name on a thank-you page.

What the seat includes

  • The plan: 25 Pinterest accounts, 25 blogs, no monthly limit on image pins, 300 video renders a month, 5 team seats, white-label reports and priority support. You pay once; there is no renewal. See Plans, limits and the usage meter.
  • Refunds: within 14 days of your own payment.
  • A done-for-you blog: your seat can include one blog that Bloomtack makes draft pins for. They wait in your review queue like your own, and they never count against your limits. See Done-for-you pins.

The badge

A Founding member badge shows next to your name in the account menu and under Settings, then Account. It belongs to you, not to a workspace, so you see it in every workspace you open. It does not expire and there is nothing to renew.

Only you see your badge. Your team does not see it on their screens.

The Founding Members page

Open the account menu and choose Founding Members. The page lists the members who chose to be named, in the order they added their name.

  • Everyone who is signed in to Bloomtack can open the page.
  • It shows names only: no email address, picture, blog or workspace.
  • Nobody is listed unless they turned it on themselves. Your name is off until you do.

Show your name

  1. Open Settings, then Account.
  2. Check Your name in the profile card. It is the name the page shows. If the field is empty, type your name and press Save profile first.
  3. In the card Thank you for backing Bloomtack, turn on Show my name on the Founding Members page.

Bloomtack confirms with "Your name is on the Founding Members page." If you are a Founding Member and not yet named, the page itself also has an Add my name button that takes you to this switch.

If you change the name in your profile later, the page shows the new name.

Take your name off

Turn the same switch off. Your name leaves the page right away, and you can turn it on again whenever you like. The badge stays either way.

If a Founding Member seat is refunded, the name comes off the page with it.

Your record of it

Turning the switch on or off is written to your activity log, so you can see when you agreed to be named and when you took it back. See Your activity log.

If you do not see the badge

The seat is tied to the email address you paid with. Sign in with that address, or contact support and say which address you used to pay. The sample workspace does not show the badge or the page.
