Pins for your store products
Import products from a WooCommerce or Shopify store so each product gets its own pins with its price.
If your blog has a shop, Bloomtack can import its products and design pins for them, showing the product photo and price, alongside the pins for your posts.
Turn on product imports
Product imports are chosen when you add the blog:
- Go to Blogs, press Add a blog and check your blog's address.
- If Bloomtack finds a WooCommerce or Shopify store, it shows Import the store's products too, so new products get pins. For WooCommerce stores it is ticked for you.
- Leave it ticked and add the blog.
Products arrive with the first sync, usually within a minute.
See your products
- Products in the sidebar, under Library, lists the products of every store in the workspace.
- On a blog's page, the Products tab lists that store's products.
Each product shows its photo, name, price and a status:
- Pins not made yet: Bloomtack will design pins for it.
- 3 pins made (or another number): its pins are designed.
- Skipped: Bloomtack could not make a good pin, usually because the product has no photo.
- Out of stock: no pins are made while it is out of stock.
In the Crumb & Kettle demo, for example, the Stoneware Proofing Basket shows $34.00 and the Sourdough Starter Kit shows as out of stock.
How products are kept up to date
Bloomtack checks the store with every sync of the blog and picks up new and changed products.
- WooCommerce: read through the store's public product list, up to 500 products per sync.
- Shopify: read from the store's product sitemap, up to 100 products per sync, with prices in the shop's currency.
Good to know
- Product pins link to the product page on your own store.
- A pin states only the price and details your store shows.
