Light and dark mode

Choose a light or dark look for Bloomtack, or let it follow your device.

Bloomtack comes in a light look with warm paper tones and a dark look for evenings. Your pins always show in their real colors, whichever you pick.

Choose a theme

You can change the theme in three places:

• On a computer: press your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar and pick a theme.
• On a phone: press More in the tab bar, or your avatar at the top, and pick a theme.
• Anywhere: go to Settings → Account and use Appearance.

The choices are:

• System theme: follows your device. If your phone switches to dark at sunset, Bloomtack does too.
• Light theme: always light.
• Dark theme: always dark.

Good to know

• The theme is saved on each device and browser. You can use dark on your phone and light on your laptop.
• Both themes meet the same readability standard: text contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background.
• If your device asks apps to reduce motion, Bloomtack turns off its small animations.
